What is Model Mania?
Coined by Dassault Systèmes, SOLIDWORKS Model Mania: Academe—launched by Computrends in 2022 and expanded nationwide in 2023—returns for its fourth season in 2025, challenging students' modeling skills in both accuracy and speed while fostering collaboration. Who can join?
All undergraduate Engineering students enrolled in Philippine universities this school year are welcome to join. A minimum of 10 student participants per school is required to qualify for the elimination round.

When is the competition?
- Registration Period - May 1, 2025 to June 30, 2025
- Elimination Round - July 14, 2025 to August 15, 2025
- Finals Round - August 18, 2025 to August 22, 2025
How to register?
Step 1: Reach out to Mr. Dick See, our Sales Manager for the Education Division, at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. if you're keen on participating.
Step 2: Gather at least 10 students from your Engineering Department to join our Model Mania. Make sure they're familiar with using SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD.
Step 3: Coordinate with Mr. Dick See regarding the schedule and arrangements for the elimination round, which Computrends will conduct on your campus between July 14 and August 15, 2025.
